We Share Food Pantry Inc. is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA, published by the W3C.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA labels where appropriate.
- Maintain a clear, consistent navigation and visible focus indicators for keyboard users.
- Provide meaningful alt text for informative images.
- Ensure sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Test new pages and features with keyboard navigation and screen readers.
- Avoid auto-playing media and unexpected motion.
Known limitations
We work to maintain a high standard, but parts of our site may not yet be fully accessible. Embedded third-party maps and donation processing pages are controlled by external providers; we are working with those partners to address any accessibility gaps.
