Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to run the pantry and respond to website inquiries. From pantry guests we collect a name and household size. From donors and volunteers we collect contact details and the content of any messages submitted through our forms. Our website collects basic, anonymized analytics (such as pages visited and approximate region) to help us improve content and accessibility.
How we use information
Guest information is used to coordinate distribution and report aggregate impact to funders. Donor information is used to acknowledge contributions and provide tax receipts. Volunteer information is used to coordinate shifts. We never sell information, and we do not share personal information with third parties except as required by law or to provide services you have explicitly requested (for example, secure donation processing via Charity Navigator).
Cookies & analytics
We use minimal cookies to support core site functionality. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be collected to understand which content is useful. You may disable cookies in your browser; this site will continue to work.
Data retention
Guest visit records are kept for the period required by grant reporting (typically 3 years). Donor records are kept for the period required by IRS regulations. Volunteer records are kept for as long as you are active and one additional year. Contact form submissions are kept for up to two years.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Children participating in pantry programs are enrolled through their school or a parent or guardian.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@wesfp.org. We respond within 30 days.
Third-party services
Donations on this site are processed by Charity Navigator. Their privacy practices are described on their website. Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap.
